Research Forum

Each year, KU School of Medicine-Wichita hosts a Research Forum for students, residents and faculty, as well as anyone interested in community health and medical research, to present and discuss research projects and facilitate research collaboration. This year’s forum will be hosted on campus.
34th Annual Research Forum
The 2026 Research Forum, in its 34th year, will be at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, 1010 N. Kansas, Wichita, KS 67214.
The keynote speaker is Gregory Hand, Ph.D., MPH, MS, dean of the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University. Dr. Hand will highlight the expanding research partnership between Wichita State University and the University of Kansas, emphasizing opportunities for innovation, collaboration and regional impact.
